2021 Golf Fore! The Lord Tournament *Update*
Hello everyone, we hope that you are having a blessed day! We are getting closer to teeing off for this First Annual Golf Fore The Lord Tournament. We have some updates for you, as we can now confirm all of the courses and dates for the tournament.
First, we’ll hit the links at Ole Monterey Golf Club on Friday, July 23rd at 1:00pm. Food will be catered before the event during registration. We look forward to having a local BBQ restaurant that opened just before the COVID pandemic began serve the players for this event. Registration and lunch begins at noon, we tee off shotgun style at 1:00pm.
Next, we’ll take our gameplay to Hanging Rock Golf Club in Salem on Friday, August 27th at 1:00pm. Food will be served by Stacy’s Grill to Go during registration starting at noon.
From there, we move north to CliftonDale Country Club outside Clifton Forge, VA on Saturday September 25th at 10:00am. Registration begins at 9am. Food will be served after the round.
Finally, we wrap up this tournament at Ashley Plantation Golf Club on Friday, October 22nd at 1:00pm. Lunch will be served fresh by Robert Evans’ Home Run Hot Dogz! Delivering some of the best hot dogs in the valley with all the fixings you desire. Registration and lunch begins at noon.
Signup sheets will be available soon at all of the golf course clubhouses, or if you prefer, can be requested via email. Please email administrator@firstassemblycliftonforge.org requesting a brochure and signup sheet. Please include which course signup sheet you would like, or have a bundle for all sent to you. The clubhouses will accept your signup sheets and payment, please make checks payable to First Assembly. If you would like to hand deliver your signup sheet and payment, please email the above email address and someone will schedule a time to meet you.
We would like to thank all of the courses for helping with and organizing these events, and the vendors blessing us with food on these days, and a big thank you to everyone who is signing up and playing in the tournaments!
